Artist's Comments
The coiling dragon burst agressively from the cloud bank, her scales shimmering white gold in the morning light, roaring defiantly at the sun. Her vocal thunder rippled across the plains of the sky, startling the patch of black disrupting the sky and causing it to flap its noxious wings quickly to evade.
Too late the monstrous thing chose to flee--white ice froze in tendrils across its wings, on its back, and on its head. As it finished its final wing flap the tips of its frozen wings broke off with crackling snap, just as the white flames reached it and consumed it utterly. Seemingly pleased, Amitzul coasted triumphantly in the morning heavens, her sharp eyes looking for the next foe. This is Amitzul, a half white, half gold eastern dragon, effecticely giving her white gold scales. The red comes from her father, Sol, who was often called the warrior of the sun. c: This took quite a while to finish, though it'd been open quite a while.  MORO YOU ALREADY KNOW HOW BEAUTIFUL I THINK THIS IS :[ <3333333333333333333333 SEE, I TOLD YOU YOU SEEMED LIKE THE KIND OF ARTIST WHO WOULD BE REALLY GOOD AT PAINTING WITHOUT LINES AND I WAS -RIGHT-. THE FUR AND HER HEAD AS A WHOLE AND EVERYTHING IS JUST SO AMAZING ;____; AND GOD DO I LOVE THAT BG. LIKE MORE THAN I LOVE FOOD, AND I LOVE FOOD A -LOT-. THIS WHOLE THING JUST LOOKS RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME AND REALISTIC AND EVERYTHING AND IT REALLY, HONESTLY HAS DEPTH, LIKE, THE SEPARATION BETWEEN THE FOREGROUND AND THE BACKGROUND IS VERY STRONG (<---IN A GOOD WAY, BTW) AND EVEN THE PLACE WHERE HER BODY OVERLAPS ITSELF HAS VERY NICE CONTRAST.
