Typographic Anatomy (MUCH LARGER UNDER DL.)
This chart was made to be printed and used for reference, not for strictly viewing on the computer (Bodoni isn't such a great screen font). I wanted it to look like a classroom poster, or one of those ones that came in the mail. I also have an unwrinkled version because, well, sometimes I like to crumple my own posters. <3 Interested parties can download that here. I made this as sort of a gift for Deviantart, like a tutorial, but more of a handy-hints type thing. It looks really easy, I know, but I put a lot of thought into it. Also, I had to get this done before I could do anything else, get it out of my system. I'll probably be posting it on Valiant in the freebies section pretty soon. So, any comments or thoughts would be greatly appreciated, even if you aren't a GD student. Thanks <3 |

Naw, typography is awesome and a very interesting study. The use of it in many forms can often make or break a presentation, even if most people don't understand why. Sadly, I don't think enough people in the art community appreciates the importance of type and the effectiveness of its use. This is a really cool piece, brings back many memories |D
